Dallas Mavericks legend, Dirk Nowitzki, passed Wilt Chamberlain for sixth place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list Monday afternoon.

It was iconic. Dirk used his signature mid-range fade-away to eclipse the scoring mark.

Nowitzki needed just four points to surpass Chamberlain for the sixth spot and finished the game with eight, putting him at a total of 31,424 points for his career.

Dirk now trails Kareem, Malone, Kobe, LeBron, and Jordan, on the list, and being only 868 points behind Jordan, it is very much possible for him to keep exceeding up.

Nevertheless, Congratulations to Dirk Nowitzki on the historic achievement adding to his already hall-of-fame caliber resume.
