Christian Yelich is big-time!
The Brewers outfielder is showing that his 2018 NL MVP, near triple crown, season was no fluke. Before the 2018 season, the Miami Marlins traded Christian Yelich to the Milwaukee Brewers for four prospects, and as time passes, it is looking like the Brewers pulled off one of the biggest heists in MLB history. In 2018, Yelich batted an NL best .326, and came in second in RBi’s with 110, and third in home runs with 36. He also almost unanimously won the MVP award, with 29 out of the 30 1st place votes.
Yelich is keeping it rolling in 2019. In the opening four-game series against the Cardinals, Yelich homered in all four, being the sixth player ever to do so, and bat .500 with eight RBI’s, six runs, six walks, and only one strikeout.

The former top prospect and first-round pick out of high school is 27 years old and already has almost seven full years of MLB experience. He is a career .297 hitter with two Silver Sluggers and a Gold Glove, and he is only getting better.
It’s time we put Yelich’s name up there with the games best.
