NEWS: #Bengals waive DT Adolphus Washington

Washington didn’t do a whole lot in stripes as he totaled six combined tackles and one sack in just four games in 2018.
This isn’t exactly a shocking move, but maybe a little bit of a surprise as it comes before the draft and not after. But, as Washington couldn’t stay healthy, he would also be buried on the depth chart by players such as; Geno Atkins, Andrew Billings, Ryan Glasgow, Josh Tupou, Christian Ringo, and Niles Scott. And that was not accounting for any players the Bengals may pick up via the draft.
Considering their actions throughout the offseason process, the Bengals seem poised to load up on front seven depth. They have already interviewed several key d-line projects and took a look and even signed a few free agents to boot.
