  • Solid post scorer with his size and strength
  • Has potential as a floor spacer — shot a respectable 33% from three last year
  • Very active on the glass (2.5 offensive rebounds per game)
  • Possesses good ball handling and passing skills for a player of his position and size
  • Extremely versatile big man overall who has the size to score inside and the skills to score outside

  • Some question his toughness and mentality
  • Averaged almost 3x as many turnovers as assists per game (0.9 assists, 2.5 turnovers)
  • Not a great shot blocker, and his defensive potential at the next level is limited

Grade for Bucks: A-

Bucks fans should be very happy if Milwaukee ends up getting Reid with the 30th pick. He would be a solid backup to Brook Lopez (assuming the Bucks retain Lopez) and is a player who could play a similar role as Lopez does and be a great fit with the Bucks as long as he maintains a solid outside shot. The Bucks are likely to be in need of power forwards and centers for next year, and the cheapest option to fill those holes is through the draft. There are few players at those positions that Milwaukee can get with the 30th pick who have floor spacing potential like Reid and will fit the Bucks’ system as well as he might. Lopez was a huge key in the Bucks’ success this past season, as having 4 guys that can shoot play alongside Giannis really opened things up. It will be important for the Bucks to get someone who can mimic what Lopez does, and Reid would be a solid and cheap option to do so right now.
