Devastating news out of Cincinnati has just ripped a whole in the hearts of the Cincinnati faithful.

The Cincinnati Enquirer-USA TODAY

First round pick (11th overall) offensive tackle Jonah Williams will miss the 2019 season to recover from shoulder surgery after a torn labrum. He is expected to make a full recovery.

“We look forward to Jonah being a major contributor in the future and know that he won’t let this injury deter him from still being an important part of this team. We’re confident in our OL… and believe they can do their part in helping this team achieve its goals.”

Head coach Zac Taylor had this to say about Jonah Williams and the devastating situation the team has found themselves in.

This is a huge blow to the Bengals offense, and will stunt the offensive line rebuild.

The Bengals will likely have to move recently turned Guard, Cordy Glenn back to left tackle. Clint Boling’s odds to make the roster just improved significantly.

All in all, terrible news and the Bengals offensive line just took a major hit.
