Miami Heat beat Phoenix Suns 121-112

Jimmy Butler was unconscious through the first two periods. The Heat’s prized free agent notched 30pts by half, torching the Suns from everywhere. He finished the game with 34pts/4asts/5rbs. Goran Dragic turned on the highlights in the second half, scoring 20pts through the second half to finish the game with 25pts/4asts/6rbs against his former team. The Heat now stand at 6-2, looking the part of a true contender in the East. With a matchup against LeBron James coming up, they could open a lot of eyes with a win.

For the Suns, Aron Baynes finished the game with 23pts/4rbs. Devin Booker added 22pts/5asts/3rbs and Ricky Rubio chipped in 11pts/6asts/11rbs.

Boston Celtics beat Charlotte Hornets 108-87

Kemba Walker received a standing ovation and an emotional tribute in his return to Charlotte, where he spent the first eight seasons of his career before signing with Boston over the summer. Walker finished with 14pts/6asts. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston, finishing with 23pts/9rbs. Gordon Hayward added a 20pt/10rb double-double.

For the Hornets, Miles Bridges led the way with an 18pt/10rb double-double. Devontae Graham added 15pts/9asts/4rbs off the bench.

San Antonio Spurs beat Oklahoma City Thunder 121-112

LaMarcus Aldridge chopped, leading the way for the Spurs with 39pts/4asts/6rbs. Dejounte Murray finished with 17pts/10asts/8rbs and DeMar DeRozan chipped in 16pts/9asts/6rbs.

For the Thunder, Danilo Gallinari led the way, finishing with 27pts/5rbs. SGA added 21pts/3asts and Chris Paul finished with 19pts/5asts.

Los Angeles Clippers beat Portland Trailblazers 107-101

The last-minute of the game belonged to Lou Williams. The perennial sixth man gave the Clippers the lead with 58seconds remaining and then splashed a three to put the Blazers to bed. He finished the game with 26pts/8asts/3rbs off the bench. Kawhi Leonard led the way for the starters, finishing with 27pts/4asts/13rbs. Ivica Zubac added a 15pt/13rb double-double and Montrezl Harrell chipped in 15pts/6rbs off the bench.

For the Blazers, Damian Lillard led the way with 22pts/6asts/6rbs. CJ McCollum added 22pts/3asts/7rbs and Anfernee Simons came off the bench to the tune of 17pts.
