Los Angeles Clippers beat Toronto Raptors 98-88

Kawhi Leonard was harassed by his former team all night, but found ways to contribute other than scoring. On the other side of the court, the short-handed Raptors got gassed on the second night of a back-to-back. Lou William led the way off the bench for the Clippers, finishing with 21pts/4asts/4rbs. Kawhi Leonard added 12pts/9asts/11rbs, but also has nine turnovers. JaMychal Green and Montrezl Harrell both contributed double-doubles off the bench.

For the Raps, Pascal Siakam led the way with 16pts/6asts/10rbs. Norman Powell added 15pts/4rbs and Fred VanVleet chipped in 14pts/8asts.

Minnesota Timberwolves beat Detroit Pistons 120-114

Andrew Wiggins has been a baller this year. For all the jokes thrown his way about effort over the years, he seems to be trying to put all the outside noise behind him and is putting together the best basketball of his career. Wiggins led the T-Wolves Monday night, finishing with 33pts/5asts/6rbs. KAT added 25pts/6asts/’8rbs and Jake Layman chipped in 16pts off the bench.

Blake Griffin returned to action for the Pistons on Monday, finishing with 19pts/6asts/7rbs. Luke Kennard led the way with 25pts/7rbs and Andre Drummond added an 11pt/12rb double-double.

Boston Celtics beat Dallas Mavericks 116-106

Kemba Walker led the way for the Celtics, who improved to 8-1. Walker finished with 29pts/5asts/5rbs. Jaylen Brown added 25pts/3asts/11rbs and Marcus Smart chipped in 17pts/6asts.

For the Mavs, Luka Doncic was dominant once again, finishing with 34pts/9asts/6rbs. Outside of the he didn’t get much help from his supporting cast. Maxi Klieber chipped in 15pts/8rbs. Kristaps Porzingis was locked in prison for most of the night finishing with 4pts/5rbs on 1-11 shooting.

Houston Rockets beat Phoenix Suns 122-116

James Harden led the way for the Rockets, finishing with 39pts/9asts/4rbs, Russell Westbrook added 26pts/4asts/5rbs and Clint Capela finished with an 11pt/20rb double-double.

The Pelicans were without Brandon Ingram and JJ Redick started in his place, finishing with 24pts/3asts. Jrue Holiday added 18pts/11asts/9rbs and Josh Hart chipped in 19pts/4asts/4rbs.

Utah Jazz beat Golden State Warriors 122-108

The Jazz received contributions all around the beat the Warriors. Rudy Gobert finished with 25pts/14rbs, Mike Conley 22pts/7asts and Donovan Mitchell chipped in 23pts/6asts/8rbs. In all, seven players finished in double-digits.

For the Warriors, D-Lo led the way with 33pts/8rbs.

Memphis Grizzlies beat San Antonio Spurs 113-109

On the night the Spurs were retiring Tony Parker’s jersey, the Grizzlies came in and stole the show. Jaren Jackson Jr got it going, finishing with 24pts/5asts/6rbs. Jonas Valanciunas added an 18pt/12rb double-double and Brandon Clarke came off the bench to the tune of 14pts/8rbs.

For the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge led the way, finishing with 19pts/3asts/4rbs. Rudy Gay added 18pts/8rbs and Derrick White chipped in 15pts/5asts/3rbs.
